Welcome from Miss Nancy

Hello Parents,

My name is Miss Nancy, and I am delighted to welcome you and your child to our Infant Classroom. I am truly excited to begin this special journey of learning, growth, and development with your baby.

I have over 14 years of experience in the childcare field and have worked with children from infancy through school age. Throughout my career, I discovered that my true passion and specialty is working with infants. I have worked in a variety of early childhood settings with diverse family structures, cultures, and backgrounds, and I also bring experience supporting children with special needs.

One of the greatest joys of my work is witnessing each child reach milestones at their own unique pace. I am honored to support and celebrate those achievements alongside families. While I am fully committed to keeping your baby safe, nurtured, and cared for, I am equally passionate about creating developmentally appropriate learning experiences, even at the infant level.

Everything we do in the classroom has purpose. For example, simple activities like peek-a-boo help infants develop object permanence, strengthen visual tracking, support gross motor skills, and encourage early social development. These intentional experiences help build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

I truly enjoy building meaningful relationships with both my students and their families. Open communication is essential, and I always welcome parent input and collaboration, as you know your child best.

Please feel free to reach out to me at any time with questions, concerns, or suggestions no matter how small they may seem. I look forward to partnering with you and sharing in your child’s growth during this exciting stage of development.

Warmly,
Miss Nancy

Welcome from Miss Jessica

Hello!

My name is Jessica, and I have been working in early childhood education since 2015, with over 14 years of experiencesupporting children from infancy through school age. Throughout my career, I discovered my true passion lies in preschool and Pre-K, where I love guiding children as they grow, explore, and reach developmental milestones at their own pace.

I have experience working with children from diverse family backgrounds, including children with special needs, and I take pride in creating developmentally appropriate, engaging curriculum that supports social, emotional, and cognitive development.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that children learn best in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environmentwhere they feel valued, confident, and encouraged to explore. Through purposeful play, hands-on learning, and meaningful interactions, I strive to foster curiosity, independence, and strong foundational skills that support lifelong learning.

I am currently completing my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and am just two classes away from graduation. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy music, dancing, spending time with friends and family, and visiting York Beach, Maine whenever the weather allows.

I look forward to continuing to grow alongside the children and families I work with each day and feel grateful to be part of your child’s learning journey.

Warmly,
Miss Jessica
